Softouch Technologies are currently recruiting web & database developers in particular with PHP, JavaScript and SQL experience.
Job role: Long term opportunity for an experienced web/database programmer primarily to:
- Develop web front end applications for our JobPro product.
- Develop innovative new products and plug-ins.
- Develop databases using FileMaker (www.filemaker.com) will become relevant at a later stage. No experience required.
Requirements:
- Experience with PHP, JavaScript and SQL important.
- Commercial experience creating professional looking web interfaces using CSS and HTML.
- Experience with C++, .NET, XML/XSL and Ajax a plus.
- Experience designing websites and search engine optimisation a plus.
- Strong understanding of relational database design.
- Experience developing for multiple platforms and browsers (PC & Mac).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- A good eye for human interface design.
- Living locally a plus as this is a long term opportunity.
- Experience with Mac OSX platform a plus.
- Experience with FileMaker software a plus.
- At times you will be required to interact with customers.
